We are delighted and immensely proud to announce that Gas Tag has won The Lloyds Bank New Business of the Year at the National Business Awards.

Nicknamed the Oscars of great British business by Former Prime Minister David Cameron, the awards took place on at Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London and were presented by BBC Breakfasts Naga Munchetty with an amazing speech from the Absolutely Fabulous Joanna Lumley!

Over 1000 business leaders, entrepreneurs, politicians, journalists and members of the Gas Tag team attended the 17th National Business Awards ceremony to celebrate the leading business figures and rising stars.The Lloyds Bank New Business of the Year Award recognises the company that has exceeded their initial targets for growth and has shown importance within their sector or industry through significant product/service innovation and leadership.

We are delighted that the judging panel had recognised the importance of our mission to bring greater safety through technology and we're honoured to be recognised with the award amongst the fantastic companies who were also finalist in our category. Several members of the Gas Tag team travelled down to the awards and duly celebrated an achievement which means so much for the whole company. Our CEO, Paul Durose commented on the award: Technology has changed so much for the better in society and the time is long overdue for this revolution to change the way we deliver safety. We are committed at Gas Tag to ensuring that every household in the UK receives the benefits from delivering safety procedures through technology. With our partners we are building, for the first time, a national data picture of safety compliance - making the UK the new global gold standard for safety. 

We are delighted to receive the recognition of being awarded the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards New Business of the Year and are immensely proud of being an industry-leading technology company in the North West of England. In 2019, we will champion innovation and creativity in the local area by expanding to a new 15 thousand square foot office in the heart of the commercial district in Liverpool. Our ambition is to be a hub for the rising stars of tech in the local community.
