We’ve made some updates to our Portal

It’s safe to say that you, our users, have been pretty impressed with Portal 2.0. However, we’ve been working hard in the background to fix some small bugs and make some minor changes following your feedback. It is important that our product works for you and so we appreciate you getting in touch with us! The new updates will come into effect straight away so you don’t need to do anything. The majority of you might not even notice the changes but for those curious as to what we’ve been working on, you can find out more below.

Places of interest

Places of interest

Removed places of interest from the portal map as this was making it difficult for users to see the engineer and property icons.

Gas rate units

Gas rate units

Added all the potential units for measuring the gas rate and made it consistent across the app.

Persistent settings

Persistent settings

Set persistent settings for the property status widget e.g if you filter for both void and occupied properties it will remember your choice and display both next time you log into the portal.

Better recording

Better recording

Added the option to record CO PPM and % CO2 as well as the current CO/CO2 ratio on the Combustion Analyser readings question.

Improving landlord Gas Safety Records (LGSRs)

We continually work with auditors Morgan Lambert to review the LGSRs our system produces and make any changes that are recommended.

Wording

Wording

Changed wording from ‘protective equipotential bonding’ to ‘main equipotential bonding’ on the question set and LGSR.

Changes to instructions

Changes to instructions

Removed the option to select ‘instructions not found’ when asked if it meets manufacturer requirements.

Bug fixes

We have fixed the following bugs which we have become aware of since the release of the Portal.

  • Display 0.000 readings as 0.000 instead of N/A on the LGSR.
  • Sending a welcome email to the surveyor’s account when they are added to the portal.
  • Being able to manually complete a job as a UTA.
  • A new user will now be created with default portal preferences automatically.
